the four of us who are natives to these islands showed up for dinner ready to spend probably over 400 for dinner. the hostess was working with paper and simply ignored our presence even when spoken to and then proceeded to walk away with attitude of i will get to you whenever... we looked at the menu then realized this person was simply rude and we walked away. as we did she came back and yelled guess thats a no. to which our guest replied you walk away we walk away. way to many decent restaurants in Cruz to go spend your tourist dollar than this place which by her reaction does not need your business nor care to acknowledge . Actually food here is not anything special and the prices per serving is one of the highest, but you pay more the view than the service. great Spanish restaurant down the street with awesome food and waitstaff knows what they are doing. the owner deserves to know the low talent he has working..

Dinner on January 5, 2017, 7:00 pm, party of 6.
TIP #1: Take someone to the tourist restaurant that you like to look at, because a civil conversation is simply impossible because of the noise - Painfully loud noise.
I was concerned when our party arrived as there was a musty, spoiled food (dumpster-like) smell in the air.
The food was on the plates, a bonus, but appeared to have prepared in haste, and left to assume the room temperature and aroma.
TIP #2: Don't order the Caesar Salad, the croutons are rancid. And, very important, when your food is dropped off - ask the waitress to bring more water & drinks at that time because you might not see her again until the desert selection is requested.
TIP #3: Almost forgot to mention, bring a FLASHLIGHT and read the bottom of the menu thoroughly (the big print giveth, the small print taketh away).
On a high speed flyby, our waitress dropped off the check and kept going at a purposeful high rate of speed. I called to her back with flailing hand gestures because I had a question, but she couldn't hear me 5 feet away.
We had a party of 6 and I typically like to provide a gratuity of 25% or MORE for special efforts.
TIP #4: BRING A FLASHLIGHT!: One member in our group had a flashlight App in his iPhone which we used to select our dinner choices. At the end of the EVENT, we found that they had already added only a minimal 20% gratuity to the tab. Left it like that.

Great location - on the waterfront in Cruz Bay. A step above the other waterfront restaurants if you want something more than pub grub. I enjoy sitting at the bar. Nice wine selection and fresh catch of the day specials. Staff is very friendly and prompt.
