Blue Mosque, Shrine of Hazrat Ali RA
The Mazar is visited by many people from around the region. It is the common belief that Hazrat Ali RA is buried here.
Every year a large number of Shi'aite muslims gather here to pay their respect.
12th century blue stone architecture, in Mazar-i-Sharif, Northern Afghanistan
The blue stones are still shining even after so many years of war, conflict and neglect.
A must see in Afghanistan.
