Great kid's playground, nice place to catch up for coffee while the kids play. Right near the library and cafe. Lots of mozzies in the evening though.

These gardens would be ideal for your wedding ceremony, except that they have been over-run by flying fox. A real pity.

Simply one of the most beautiful parks in Townsville, it'd be five stars if the bat problem was dealt with but at the moment it's not too bad. The waterworks are gorgeous and the seating area placement around it is a fantastic design choice.
If you're looking for some quiet time to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while, Dan Gleeson is your Park!
