Old Highway # 2 dips below the waters of the St.Lawrence Seaway built in 1958. You can just see the old highway under the water and re-appear about 300 m. to the NE in the satellite photo. This road was opened in June 1918 and was closed in 1958. All the road traffic from Montreal to Toronto once used this highway.
