A 1950 service station where they fixed your car, pumped your gas, cleaned your windshield, and checked your oil. The only food sold was in a small vending machine with peanuts and jelly beans. Gas was 29.9 cents a gallon then. (4 l.) Tires and spark plugs had a useful life of 10,000 miles (16,000 km.) then, if you were lucky.
