I had the WORST car rental experience of my life at this very branch. Not only I was not informed on strictly needed two credit cards assigned to my name to be present, the male manager was not a single bit helpful with my dilemma.
In addition to the already bitter situation, I was told the very last minute the Mini Cooper I ordered is not allowed to be driving by my children who are 23 and 24. I was irritated as I carefully specify the non performance model so everyone could drive and got a confirmation letter regarding the matter (as attached).
I can only imagine where the staff in Auckland city has no clue on what is going on withe Europcar and their website as whatever they said went opposed one another. That was the LAST with the company as I was slapped with a huge hidden costs due to the many regulations their company has and given a car they deem suitable.
If one plans to stay for long in magnificent NZ, buying a car and selling it off at the end of your stay is a better option.

Great service from the friendly staff. Managed to change the drop off location with no fuss to the airport and the upgrade me as well. Thanks again and it's much appreciated.

Two girls in here couldn't be more helpful! Great experience especially as it was good Friday. Asked if we could have a slightly bigger car than booked and they went above and beyond to get us one even though they were slightly limited on cars available. Much better service than we received on the South Island with Europcar. Thanks again guys!

I've had some poor experiences at this Europcar but my most recent hire was awesome. the car was ready for my pickups and the documentation done. I'd booked 24 hours earlier and even got a sweet upgrade.
very happy, these guys are really trying hard to make their customers happy.
