Great trip with Scotties Car Rental. They were efficient, on time and answered all of my phone calls straight away. They even dropped me off at the airport on the last day for free. Great team to work with!

Customer service wise they were great! Very nice people and also informative. But, the only true problem we had was the car itself. It was a 2005 Honda CRV at almost 200,000 kilometers on it. It being 12 years old, the interior was fairly damaged, the back door (trunk door) wouldn't fully close and while the light that showed that the trunk was open was on, it was casually covered by a no smoking sticker. The inside part of the roof was covered with what seemed old food stuck to it. Not to mention that the car was set to Japanese and we could not figure out what to do with it, no access to even an auxiliary for music. We made it to Franz Josef Glacier and back to Queenstown alive, but we were definitely not happy about the car.

Had such a good experience! Staff was friendly and it was affordable! If we had more time in NZ we would definitely rent again!

Scotties rental cars worked perfectly for us. We had a late arrival so we just called the given number and we were told where our car was in the parking lot. Keys were in it, GPS ready to go, gas, map(didn't need it with the GPS (worth the extra cost if you don't know NZ), even a book on the laws for driving. Quick easy return. Easy online booking and paper signing, no reams of paperwork. GREAT PRICE GOOD CAR FANTASTIC COMPANY

I arrived super early in the morning and needed to get to Scotties. I gave a call and they came and picked me up to take me to do paperwork, and even better yet, they picked me up in my rental... so I never had to move my items from car to car... bloody brilliant. I love it.
