This place is awful. When my sister was around 12 years old, she went here to get braces as I had done. Dr Max told my parents that she needed expensive jaw surgery as well as braces which would involve breaking and resetting her jaw. When pressed about why this was necessary, he admitted that this would be purely cosmetic surgery and had no medical justification. He was simply trying to get money out of my family. My sister who had previously been confident, became anxious and self conscious because she thought there was something wrong with her face since the orthodontist (who is a figure we are supposed to trust) had suggested it needed fixing. Obviously we refused the treatment. My sister is a beautiful girl but she went on to have severe body image issues.
Please consider the effects your words have on your young and impressionable patients before you try to scam them out of money. You are absolutely evil.

this 1 star is for the receptionist. I was calling to inquire about a product, and she was so rude about it. Awful customer service.

I have been a long-standing customer of Max and Beresford. The staff are generally very friendly and my teeth have definitely improved. Unfortunately the glue for the wire is quite fragile, although that might be the nature of the product.

It has been 6 years since I have gotten rid of my braces and these orthodontists have done a fantastic job in making my teeth straight and perfect. However, the glue sticking the wire to my teeth keeps falling off and each time, it costs to have it re-glued (even though they say the wire should be 'permanently on'). On top of this, the glue comes off even when I have no consumed any hard food!
