Restaurant is lovely & has romantic decor, beautiful setting. Quite disappointed with menu as I was hoping for more variety of seafood dishes. Mains seemed overly expensive so we decided to order entree’s. Prawns were ok, calamari on the other hand-$19 for .....????? I’ve never had such a small serving of calamari before! Owner did not look impressed that we didn’t order any mains. Glad we didn’t if this is the type of serving we’d get for our money.

Have been dining at Annabelles for years and recently had one of their three course deals. Food was superb, service great and I love the quiet unrushed ambience of the place unlike so many of aucklands restaurants.

Came here for brunch and ordered the big breakfast for $24 and a coffee.
While the poached eggs and mushrooms were cooked well enough, the split sausage was dry and underwhelming, the bacon soft and unflavourful, and received possibly the most sorry excuse I've ever seen for a hash brown. And if I'm paying $24 for a breakfast, I expect fancy home or artisan made seed bread with my meal, no I got supermarket mass-produced sliced bread instead. The final shocker came when I received my bill... I got charged $8, yes $8 for my 'large' flat-white which wasn't even that large by any means. I certainly won't be coming back.

Table right by the window so a glorious view without the cold on a winter's day. Had the seafood chowder which was a generous portion, full of seafood and thick and creamy. Perfect! Only reason it's not 5 stars is because it has wooden floors so was quite noisy.
