A bit wanky for my tastes (I recall one café in particular that wouldn't allow me to order a coffee at the till - I had to sit at a table where they brought me water I didn't want while I was waiting). Still, a pleasant enough spot to sit in the sun and eat lunch on the grass.

Nice place to hang out. Usually not as rowdy, with nice restaurants and bars within the walking distance. Overall, very good general vibe.

Amazing place to walk around and eat. So many good options. Free wifi. We spent 3 hours there.

Excellent upmarket shopping in the downtown area. Plenty of bars, cafes and shopping. Would recommend especially to tourists and visitors to Auckland.

Well worth a visit this is truly a beautiful area. Great selection of cafes and bars in an outdoor mall/courtyard setting. Come here in the evening. The whole place is strung up with fairly lights and feels magical.
