I have been going to Russell at Kohimarama clinic since he bought the practice in 1984 - & CANNOT fault service OR professionalism this practice offers. All of my animals have been treated with utmost care & expertise. (Including a rescue kitten with 'cat flu' - which recovered & went on to live a happy healthy life to the end!) Nothing is ever to much trouble & can always guarantee "quality" at this clinic. I am a pensioner & travel from west Auckland to Kohimarama clinic. That should tell one something. Overall - Can't speak more highly of this practice. Keep up the wonderful work you all do. 👍🐶🐈

Won't be back. A friend tried warning me off but being local and friendly on the phone I gave them a shot. I have a rescued kitten who got the flu ..he had ready had a rough start in life so asked 3 x for little antibiotic . Big No $120...quote of $1200 for teeth clean was outrageous too . Overnight kitten got much sicker took him to new vet. Vitamin B shot..small dose of antibiotic. at a quarter of original vet price.

Russell and his team have taken care of our little fox terrier girl Tito for 13 years. Russell gave her the best care anyone could ask for, even after hours and also whilst he was away. If not for him and his expertise, we know we would have lost her many years ago and lost out on the wonderful extra years of love, affection and companionship we were able to have with our precious girl.

Best care, gentle understanding of special needs. Immaculately clean premises and organised efficient and caring staff. Service has been reliable for our various pets' needs for over 29 years.

We have been with Russell for over 15 years and during this time he has treated 4 German Shepherds that we have owned.
Russell and his team are professional, compassionate and know their stuff but they will also give you the bad news when necessary, as hard as it is to accept at the time.
On one occasion, our girl needed emergency surgery just as they were closing for the night. They called the duty vet back in and performed the surgery and then stayed with her all night to ensure that she had the best chance of surviving. She did survive and went on to give us another 2 years of friendship before she passed away at the age of 15.
Sure some procedures or treatments are not cheap, but that is the fact of life these days and you have the decision to make the investment or let your pet go.
I would put my own life in the hands of Russell and his team.
