The Bryan-Worthington House, built in 1831 by Loverd Bryan, a cotton planter in Southwest Georgia who owned 59 slaves. Across the street is the Curry Presbyterian Church, built by his sons in 1851 in memory of Duncan Curry from North Carolina.

The Singer Boot Shop. ( 1838) The Shop of German immigrant Johan Singer, a prosperous boot maker from the 1840's, who later made boots for the confederate Army. His sons and apprentices lived upstairs.
