CA-99 near Fairmead. This section of CA-99 was used to be a divided highway before it became a 6-lane freeway in 2007-2009. Google has street views of this freeway dating as recent as November 2011. See comment below for more info. Taken on Sep 5 2011. Uploaded Jan 16 '12
CA-99 passes under the new Avenue 21 1/2 overpass, which replaced all the at-grade intersections in 2008-2009. This section of CA-99 was made with interstate highway standards & is a lot wider than the rest of CA-99. Taken on Sep 5 2011. Uploaded Jan 16 '12

CA-99 near interchange with CA-152. Even when this divided highway became a freeway in 2006-2009, CA-152 still has a LEFT exit, which can be very confusing to drivers. There are a lot of non-native eucalyptus trees planted along this interchange. See comment below for more info. Taken on Sep 5 2011. Uploaded Jan 16 '12
Fresno River Trail-Tulare & Lake st Stretch
CA-99 eventually reaches the interchange with CA-152 as the concrete pavement becomes asphalt. A few months earlier I went straight on CA-99 north of CA-152, but I didn't take pictures since I didn't have the front seat. There is a very unusual railroad crossing when the northbound lanes span under the railroad while the southbound lanes span over the railroad. See the link below for more info. Taken on Sep 5 2011.
