The beginning of the trail climbs right up the hill.

Saddle Rock starts off at a pretty good climb. Some nice person placed a dropped shirt on the wire so the owner could find it.

The art included with the Civic Center includes anything along Wenatchee Avenue north of Palouse. Coyote sits in the shade under a tree on the corner of Palouse and the Ave.j

Sternwheeler Park is shaped like the sternwheel of the steamships that used to ply the river. It is the perfect place for the Merry-go-round during the Apple Blossom Festival.

Parking is on the side of the dirt road beyond all the houses.

Saddle rock behind Wenatchee High School is the most prominent of the many natural sculptures around the city.

Saddlerock is the iconic mountain overlooking town. View from Triangle Park behind Pioneer Middle School.

Balsamroot flowers, confluence of the Wenatchee River with bridges, and the Columbia. Mount Cashmere is the triangular mountain in the middle. Horselake road zigzags up the ridge in behind town.

Private landowners have agreed to allow people to use the trails over their property. The trail continues up the hill to connect with Saddlerock above here.
